No I have not. I do not have that installed yet because I was advised it was not stable yet.

I did determine the problem. I was using the Maps Menu incorrectly. I had made the assumption that simply selecting a map from the maps menu would spawn it.

By playing with it I found that I had to first select the map I wanted to use then right click the highlighted place and finally select the map option on the drop down menu. I was missing a step. So now everything is working fine.

I am looking forward to using the GeoMaps in the future and have been monitoring the list for feedback.

Have you set up Google Maps in the Preferences?  If not, go to Edit -->
Preferences -->  Internet Maps (Tab). Tick the GeoMaps box and click on Google
Maps radio button.  Gramps needs to be restarted for this to take effect.
