Hello Dianne,

I will look into these problems a.s.a.p. The warning seems te be a coding error, line 96 is : $now = new JDate(date()); Obviously date() expects a parameter.

The fatal error could be caused by the size of the XML file. I have not done any stress tests yet, the largest file I have used so far was from my own database which has about 2000 persons and 5000 events. When you have a much larger file I would appreciate to receive it from you so I can use it for test purposes.

I get the following errors when I try to upload my gramps databse file:

Warning: date() expects at least 1 parameter, 0 given
in /opt/lampp/htdocs/easter/administrator/components/com_gramps/models/gramps.php on line 96

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 10485760 bytes exhausted (tried to
allocate 8192 bytes)
in /opt/lampp/htdocs/easter/administrator/components/com_gramps/models/gramps.php on line 330

I think I can edit gramps.php to allow more memory to cure the second

Not sure what to do about the first one. I'm running on localhost at the
moment, using XAMPP on Ubuntu 9.10

I had a look in the archives and on sourceforge, but can't see any info

I really wasn't going to bother to convert my genealogy site to Joomla,
but your extension has persuaded me!
