GPT fdisk is a disk partitioning tool loosely modeled on Linux fdisk, but used for modifying GUID Partition Table (GPT) disks. The related FixParts utility fixes some common problems on Master Boot Record (MBR) disks.

Excellent program. When prompted for filename, entering "0:" for a Windows boot drive (without the quotes) did the trick. This worked on more than one Windows computer.

Used the program to rename a Windows 10 Pro boot/OS partition with corrupted name. A cloud backup program (N-Able) was throwing errors. Tech Support said that this was the probable cause of the errors. Used GPT fdisk to rename the partition, rebooted without incident, and the N-Able backup then worked without error.

Note: partition name is different than the partition/volume label in Disk Manager.
