    heylo!

I tried to installing Windows 10 via bootcamp on my 2011 MBP a couple of years ago and it corrupted my APFS container. now, i can’t mount my MacOS partition.  at the time, i tried to find an answer to fix this, but gave up.

but now, i’m trying again! :)  i downloaded GPT Disk.  my “bad” drive is now in an external case so i can access it with my other MBP.

using GPT Disk from Terminal, i am able to see the disk from the printed partition table.

what do i do now? :)

    attached are some screenshots. thanks!

    sir demon

disk5s2 seems to have the correct partition type for disk5s2 so there's nothing GPT fdisk can do for you here.

What info is there about disk6?
Need full output from diskutil list and diskutil apfs list

What does Disk Utility.app -> First Aid say about disk5s2 partition? Select "Show All Devices" in the View menu. Select Container disk6, then click First Aid.

I don't think there's anyway to fix this.

    There is https://developer.apple.com/support/downloads/Apple-File-System-Reference.pdf
but I don't know if it's enough info to make your own utility.

There may be third party utilities but I have no experience with them and I don't know if they can be trusted.

Yes, as I said the day before today, clicking at the icon opens a new browser tab and I can get admission to link for the far off however my query turned into if it's miles viable to selected a server in the same gui with out the need to open a new tab, a type of switching among severs within the same GUI inside the equal Tab.
