#4 strip $GPZDA info from sentence ?

is it possible to add a function to strip date from
NMEA sentence with "no format conversion" mode (or
its better to have modify the year info in ongoing
sentence)

I require it because some maps has to be validated
every year and program is checking the date info from
satelite to determine whether the map has been
expired or not
