#3 Connecting to GPS device

I was able to use the application for the first time
and tried to configure the GPS device. After that the
application would not run even after reinstallation; it
just says "connecting to GPS device" for about 1 minute
and dies out.

it probably tries to connect to a gps device which is not found. try to start the application with the command line parameters "--file none" and it should start again.
