We do that on purpose to get around a device firmware problem. If you have only one Garmin USB device, it's not really a big deal to bash it with the reset club. If you have a couple and they all get to rejockey for positions on the bus eith each startup, it can be annoying. I implemented a better workaround for it that eliminates that just a few days ago. In the two years it's been in the tree, I think you're the first to comment on it. RJL |
