Use the '-T'racking flag and read from the serial port. See https://www.gpsbabel.org/htmldoc-development/tracking.html We support only a few output types for this, notably KML. In general, this isn't a conversion problem and it's not a trick we particularly try to solve well. If you have the data captured to a file, you can read it with our NMEA modules.
