Implementing it would be an easy starter project for any budding GPSBabel coders out there in case there are any with more availability than me. If there aren't, contact me for a quote on doing this. Is this assumed to be local time or GMT? It's worth disclosing that GPSBabel's fundamental time unit is a time_t - number of seconds since 1/1/70. Fractional seconds are something we handle sometimes, but inconsistently. This is one of many problems I'd like to handle by moving the project to Qt but that's been stalled by a number of infrastructure deadlocks and a lack of my time/attention to devote to it for a variety of personal reasons. Would it make more sense to implement a "real" reader for whatever GPS this is than to bend xcsv to it? The development cost is probably similar and then it'd Just Work for any other users of your unnamed GPS. RJL |
