Hello. I was hoping to use a Fortuna U2 (USB) GPS Receiver and/or Fortuna Clip On (Bluetooth) GPS
Receiver with Google Earth Plus (on a laptop running Windows XP). In Google Earth's help files it
says 'The < <http://gpsbabel.sourceforge.net/readme.html>
http://gpsbabel.sourceforge.net/readme.html> GPSBabel web site lists the devices officially
supported by the Google Earth GPS import module'. I've browsed the site but can't find this
information. I have found a reply which suggests that GE won't work with these devices. Can anyone

That won't work today. Neither GPSBabel nor Google Earth support
realtime tracking from NMEA devices like this at this time, but that may
change as this is an increasingly common request.
You may find inspiration in the Google Mapping Hacks book which describes
a trick that's also hinted at here:
But I'd have to say that it's really not for the faint of heart.
