As a sidebar, this is probably just about the last time I implement a
file format that I don't personally care about. GPSBabel has a critical
mass of file formats and it's easy enough for interested parties to
chase down the formats and add them - that's a major point of making
source available, after all. I'll gladly work with an enthusiastic
developer to add new formats, but I've about had my personal fill of
demo copies, reverse engineering, and hounding people for doc and help.
The hard part is getting the formats, not understanding the guts of
GPSBabel. GPilotS was really no worse than the others, it's just that
I'm dying the death of a thousand paper cuts on this stuff.
