Hi All, I want to use GPSBabel on Mac Platform. What I want, is only the conversion part. I don't need any GUI of it. I have a device which will generate GPS Data Log file in SBP format. After that if the user wants to convert that format to another format then the conversion code should be called from Java Code. I have searched in this regard and have also looked into JOSM, but couldn't find much. Can someone here guide me, how can be this accomplished? Whether its possible or not? Can we call the conversion code through JNI just for converting the file format? Hope to get a quick response. -- Thank & Regards Sunil |

There is not JNI interface to GPSBabel. Just evoke the command line with the options you need and use either temp files or pipes to communicate with your caller. BTW, for whatever you're doing, be sure to review the licensing of GPSBabel. Hi All, Thanks for replying, Can you let me know the command that should be passed for converting SBP file to any format either gpx or kml. I have passed this command gpsbabel -i sbp -f /home/sunil/Documents/test.sbp -o gpx -F /home/sunil/Documents/test1.gpx The gpx file is generated but I dont have a valid sbp file to test it. Is it correct or not? On Sat, 2009-04-18 at 15:09 -0500, Robert Lipe wrote: > There is not JNI interface to GPSBabel.
