Hi Robert & Jeremy,
I'm working on updating the port in DarwinPorts for your gpsbabel
program. I have the updated 1.2.4 command line version building fine,
but when I try to build the MacGPSBabel application, it fails due to a
1. The current project.pbxproj file incorrectly specifies the location
of the MainMenu.nib item as being in the current directory, instead of
under the English.lproj directory. This I can fix and easily workaround
for the moment.
2. The more serious problem is the MainMenu.nib appears to be
incorrect/broken as distributed in the source tarball. The application
will compile just fine, but when you run it, it never executes the
applescript code that it should. So for example, the input/output file
types pop-ups are empty. However, if I copy the "objects.nib" file from
the "MainMenu.nib" directory in your released pre-compiled version of
MacGPSBabel, it compiles and works just fine.
Is there any chance you could update the source tarball with the
correct objects.nib file, and correct the project.pbxproj file?
