In case it hammers you guys that actually believed the sourceforge
instructions for checking out a tree, you may find it handy to do the
moral equivalent of this on your checked out GPSBabel trees:
for i in $(find . -name Root -print)
echo robertl@...:/cvsroot/gpsbabel > $i;
Obviously, this works best if you just so happen to be 'robertl' at
sourceforge. If you aren't robertl (and I'll let you decide if that's
good or bad) make the obvious adjustments...

the CVS services will no longer function with the hostname of
cvs.PROJECTNAME.sourceforge.net. You should change your CVS
commands to use the host cvs.sourceforge.net and that should
resolve any outstanding issues that you may have. This issue
came about as a result of upgrading from BIND 8 to BIND 9 which
doesn't allow for a wildcard in the middle of a hostname.
