Thanx for the hand, Brad.   More people helping is welcome.   That's exactly WHY support is on a list.  Ideally, it would be a network of people helping each other and not relying on me to personally support ~8M users.

I just checked download.  It works fine for me and has worked for about 400 others so far today.  The 'plan9' thing has worked pretty well for several years and improved download quality vastly.  Before I implemented that, we were serving about 25x as much traffic that was essentially denial-of-service as we were actual downloads.  Looking at the logs, I was seeing goofy stuff like 300 download requests in a single second from a single IP in India - all with a User-Agent of "BeOS" or something so completely ridiculous that it was clearly automation and not "just" a proxy.  Plan9 ended that nonsense and saved bandwidth for our actual human users.

1.4.4 has indeed replaced 1.4.3.   I've had local sysadmin issues that have prevented me from being able to update the web doc, but that's on my list.

Hello Voltaire,

The links on the download page work fine here.

No doubt an oversight of some sort.

>PS: is this really the only way to contact the author or get support?

Probably not, but it's by far the quickest/easiest way.
