You have to be sure the location of your GPSBabel executable (typically /Applications/ is in your $PATH , as is typical for running shell programs in Terminal.

When I try to use GPSBabel in the command line I get the following:

-bash: gpsbabel: command not found

Using version 1.4.4, Mac OSX 10.6.8

The GUI seems to work fine.

I'm new to using the command line for anything. Is there something that I need to run before the gpsbabel command works?
