Version 2.5 from SVN doesn't work either and fails with the following error:
variable not allowed to be undef where GtkTreeIter is wanted at
/tmp/gprename/bin/gprename line 1497.

The strange thing is that if I start gprename from another directory and
use the file browser, the failing directory isn't listed.
