Here's the latest revision which will probably be version 2.2. Thanks to Johan Spee who told me that GPRename 2.1 cannot handle accents which has been fixed and he also made a Dutch translation. I also added some code that modify the cursor to a watch while GPRename is renaming, listing files or previewing to tell the user that GPRename is not dead, he's just processing stuff. Of course for a few files no one will see the cursor change as it is too fast, but for a few thousands files you'll see it. But the cursor doesn't change if you open up a directory in the tree, I have problem with this function and here on my computer, opening up /usr takes about 10 seconds but while the cursor doesn't change at least I can clearly hear my hard disk spinning reading all these files which is telling me that GPRename is not dead :> By doing this I came across a bug with files starting with a dash (-). If you ever worked in console you'll know that these files are quite problematic, 'touch -a' doesn't work, you need 'touch -- -a' and same thing to remove them, it will be 'rm -f -- -a'. But that has been fixed, GPRename can display and rename them now. So that's it for version 2.2, I'll release it around this week-end. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? En finir avec le spam? Yahoo!
