You're probably using an old version since it hasn't been updated in a while in the repository. It's very easy to install, just "sudo apt remove gprename", download/extract latest version and run "sudo make install".

I have done so, with "Path doesn't exist!" message as before. On the second attempt it worked, so is probably an initialisation problem which affects both versions.
Although it works for my main disk, it doesn't show a second mounted disk - which is the one I wish to work on unfortunately.

Yes, under a 20-odd character name. It doesn't follow the name and position I gave it on mounting it through "Disks". If that is the case, I'll stick with the utility I'm using (which has the same problem), I was only trying Gprename to see if it overcame that.

your disk should be in /mnt, does it show it there in gprename if you browse?
