Patrick, I believe I may have found my problem: https://community.libre.space/t/configuring-gpredict-for-use-with-yaesu-ft-847/974 Shows that even at 57600 baud, it takes 2.1 seconds to get all the commands out. I have the system set up for a 1 second update rate. I'll have to change it to at least 3 seconds and see if my problem disappears.
