#1 Make the sky track a config option

Could the "Sky track" in Polar View be made a config option?

I can do this with relatively little effort. To begin
with I think I will leave them on by default and put small buttons somewhere around the polar plot to toggle the track and the other items ON or OFF. On the other hand, I will also take a look at how difficult
it would be to add them as globally configurable options, i.e. in the preferences dialogue + small buttons.

This appears to be working in the current svn and likely in 1.2. Is it time to close this request?

Although missing from the description, the topic of the conversation was the rotator controller window.
In the other polar view it has always been a config option.
