gpredict hangs at startup for an indeterminate (infinite?) time after drawing screen.
You can't even delete the offending module.
Apparently because it uses a kicksat module that is no longer updated/available:

cat ~/.config/Gpredict/gpredict.cfg | fgrep -i OPEN_MODULES
OPEN_MODULES=Amateur;kicksat

cat ~/config/Gpredict/modules/kicksat.mod
[GLOBAL]
SATELLITES=39685
---EOF---

Ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS
ii gpredict 1.3-2ubuntu2 amd64 Satellite tracking program

    Unable to replicate using the the 1.4 verision in ppa:gpredict-team/daily

    I mimiced the setup as best I could. I deleted the satellite 39685. And started with the amateur and kicksat module. It repeated printed an error message but did not consume much CPU load as shown with top and xload. I then deleted the kicksat module file and it reported and error but did not spike the load.

    Please confirm the error exists in the 1.4 tree.
