You can find some documentation at gplib.sourceforge.net. It is not complete,yet, but gives you some ideas about a lot of the features. There are two parts of gplib++, one is the library, the other one is a collection of programs that are build with it. For example, if you are interested in receiver function analysis, have a look at calcrec.cpp on how to read in sac files and calculate RFs from them. If you let me know what you want to do, I'll point you to a good starting place.
