gtkam still uses the old gnome/scrollkeeper documentation system and the omf file created is actually broken:

bash$ grep datadir /usr/share/omf/gtkam/gtkam-C.omf
<identifier url="file:$(datadir)/gnome/help/gtkam/C/gtkam.xml"/>

The attached patch against svn trunk converts
gtkam to use gnome-doc-utils as described here:

    You mean gnome-doc-utils.make? It's not my invention, it's actually part of the gnome-doc-utils package, pretty much all GNOME apps use it nowadays.
