Hello Marcus, I found your gPhoto homepage in the internet and find it very interesting. My special interest is to make photographs remote controlled with a "normal" camera (e.g. Canon PowerShot A710). My aim is to make the photograph simultaniously with two cameras for photogrammetric purposes (see wikipedia Photogrammetrie "german only, sorry!") The control to take the photographs could be taken by a microcontroller (e.g. http://www.chip45.com/index.pl?page=Savvy128&lang=en ). I am familiar with the microcontroller board and could program the board in BASIC (BASCOM specially made for microcontrollers). This microcontroller board has an serial and usb interface to access the cameras. My question now: is there some documentation on the cables, commands, parameters and setup of the cameras to use them via a remote software? Or even an example? Specially the commands for pre-release the trigger (to have a sharp image, this is when you push the trigger on the camera only half), release the trigger and zoom commands Any help is very welcome!
