Hi! I can capture photos using --capture-image or --capture-preview. So far so good...

But no configuration seems to work:
set-config manualfocusdrive=6
set-config-index manualfocusdrive=6
set-config-index "/main/actions/manualfocusdrive"=6
set-config-index /main/actions/manualfocusdrive=6

Neither the "CURRENT value using get-config nor the focus of the camera/photo it self does change....

gphoto2: {/root} /> get-config manualfocusdrive
Label: Drive Canon DSLR Manual focus
Readonly: 0
Type: RADIO
Current: None
Choice: 0 Near 1
Choice: 1 Near 2
Choice: 2 Near 3
Choice: 3 None
Choice: 4 Far 1
Choice: 5 Far 2
Choice: 6 Far 3
END

What am'I doing wrong?

other commands like
--set-config datetimeutc=date +%s
do work:

      Hey there,
I am having the same issue on a Canon EOS 200D. The "Current" value is displayed correctly for shutterspeed but for iso and aperture the "Current " value does not update even though the camera receives the update correctly.

Will there possibly be a fix for this in the future?

    Hi Marcus

Have you or anyone else been able to achieve any progress regarding this issue with M50 (and 200D)?

    BR,
    Ramsi
