#1010 Nikon D3100 photo failed to be deleted

I am currently using gphoto2 on my raspberry pi and conected to Nikon D3100. I am able to capture images and download them to the pi but failed to delete them on the camera.

Below is the version of the gphoto2:
gphoto2 2.5.6 gcc, popt(m), exif, no cdk, no aa, no jpeg, no readline
libgphoto2 2.5.6 all camlibs, gcc, ltdl, EXIF
libgphoto2_port 0.12.0 gcc, ltdl, USB, serial without locking

Below is the error:

Error
PTP Operation Not Supported
New file is in location /store_00010001/DCIM/102D3100/DSC_2454.JPG on the camera
Saving file as 20150128-120616.jpg
Deleting file /store_00010001/DCIM/102D3100/DSC_2454.JPG on the camera

Error
PTP Operation Not Supported
ERROR: Could not delete image.

Below log file is attached.

Any help?

Hi Marcus,

Thank you for your reply.

I opened the .pat file in textedit and found the following directory
camlibs/ptp2/ptp.c

Now the issue is this directory doesn't not exist.

So the question here how to apply the .pat file?

this is a source patch against libgphoto2 ... if you are more familar with building from tarballs, can you try
