GPG auto update failed on MacOS 12.2.2.

There was no warning of the update by email but this could be because I am not on the right list.

Failure in MacOS /var/install.log (attached).

Encryption/Decryption continues to not be available in Mac Mail Version 10.2 (3259).

Please advise me of any further actions I should take,

Thanks

This is to update what I wrote earlier:

    • On further examination Encryption and Decryption are both working in Mac Mail without restart

    • Also, the errors begin at the end of the log file I attached earlier, where:

          • GPG Keychain.app .. couldn’t be opened because there is no such file.
          • GPGTools.app .. couldn’t be opened because there is no such file.
          • GPGSuite_Updater.app .. couldn’t be opened because there is no such file.
          • pinentry-mac.app .. couldn’t be opened because there is no such file.

In fact GPG Keychain.app was already open when the automatic update began.

You refer to GPGTools, but this is Gpg OSX. Gpg OSX does not provide tools like GPG Keychain.app, nor does it provide an automatic update function.

Please visit https://gpgtools.org for further information.
