I'm trying to install gpac and DashCast to be able to generate segmented mp4 files and the manifest from a single mp4 to be put up on a server.
I have tried doing this on multiple Virtual Instances (Both local and on EC2), but I seem to be running into problems every single time. Whenever I try to play the .mpd file using MP4Client, the audio seems to work file while the video does not play (it only shows a green screen)

I followed the instructions found at http://gpac.wp.mines-telecom.fr/dashcast/ to install gpac and the relevant dependancies.
Any suggestions would be very welcome!
try disabling openGL at run time (mp4client -opt compositor:OpenGLMode=disable)
