Hi,

we on Debian had to drop the module "widgetman" due to the license terms which files in the directory modules/widgetman/ seem to be covered by. The offending part follows:

//Telecom ParisTech retains full right to use the code for his/her own purpose,
//assign or donate the code to a third party and to inhibit third parties from
//using the code for non MPEG-U Widgets (ISO/IEC 23007-1) conforming products.

Unfortunately, the above lines make the license non-DFSG compatible and prevent us to redistribute the sources.
Hence I hereby ask you to either change the license or at most least replace the offending parts with different implementations.

Thanks for considering.

We modified the licence to alternatively support LGPL licencing of this module - could you please check if the result is still offending ?
