#9 opening directories does not work

File menu -> Load mpeg2.
In the text bar where you'd normally
type a file name, type "." or ".."
or some other directory. I'd expect
the window to switch to that directory.
But instead I get a warning printed
that "/home/rsc/.. is not a file!"
and that it loaded in 0 seconds (1MB/s).
