Like many people, I leave a bunch of unread email in my inbox.
Every time googsystray starts up, it reaches way way back into my inbox and produces like 50 or 100 (I don't know how many really) pynotify events for all those messages.
I'd like it if, when googsystray terminates (or periodically, or whatever) it would take note of the timestamp of the last message notified.
That way, during startup, it might show me 7 messages or however many really are new since the last time googsystray ran.
Or, to make things simpler, just don't notify of old messages at googsystray startup, period. Very few email-checking systray tools do that anyway.
Thanks.
