Can Google's implementation of SAML Single Sign-On (SSO) Service for Google Apps (http://code.google.com/googleapps/domain/sso/saml_reference_implementation.html) be added to googsystray for logging into Google App accounts? One of my Google Apps accounts now use SSO and googsystray cannot log into it. I am running googsystray on Ubuntu. Thanks.

Hrm. I'm talking with another guy right now who is having trouble with his work apps account (tho his home one is fine). I wonder if this is related? Would there be any way to get me an account with this so I can test?

I wish I could give you a Google App account with SSO enabled for testing googsystray, but it is my company that set up the SSO. I would be more then happy to help with testing.

I have a google apps domain... I wonder if I could get it set up on there.

Ay, it looks like I need a Premier apps account. I may do the 30-day-free-trial thing and see if I can't get it working, but that'll be a week or two off before I have time to dedicate.

BTW -- what are the symptoms? Does googsystray say it can't login, or does it just seem like it's not seeing that account?

Googsystray never completes the login, there is no icon and it hangs until I kill the application from the command line. The SAML URL I gave shows that google sends a redirect to a partner (and in my case, it is my companies server) where the username/password is verified by the partner (steps 4, 5, 6), and not by google.
