I've installed the tool, we have multiple google app's accounts, I have a personal one, that when I first set up googlesystray it worked, it showed me the icon, a mail icon with a number, and when I look at the account, (it seems its connecting with IMAP) and I can assign associated labels in imap), my second account is a work account, it  REQUIRES https and on a different port as well. Is there somewhere in the registry that it had be hacked to change the connecting port? And/Or HTTPS vs. HTTP.

    Thanks

Googsystray doesn't use imap, and uses https for all communication with google's servers.  What port is it required to use?

Yeah, I realized that the reason I see the [IMAP}/Drafts is listed is because I use IMAP for my mail and its created the folder.
Again, the only account that I can click the arrow on and see the labels is my personal google apps standard, my work google apps business (or whatever the paid for version is) doesn't have a arrow next to it (and thus doesn't list all 40 or so of my labels that I label and archive, remove from inbox with).

I believe my work google apps has to be configured to port 993.

Now that I have run it, I got notifications just the first time (and only for the personal account). although I have dim unchecked, as well as always display icon, it has disappeared from my systray and doesn't work for any accounts any more.) Maybe its not win 7 64 bit compatible? I only have Vista 64 bit as well (no 32 bit) but the behavior is the same on both systems.

    <damn> thought I found what I needed… :(

993 is typically an SSL-over-IMAP port.  When you go the apps web interface for your work, what URL is your inbox?  It is the typical https://www.google.com/a/domainname.com/#inbox, no?  There shouldn't be any 64 bit issues, or at least no other users have reported problems, although something may exist.

BTW, you won't see any of your labels iin the prefs screen until after the first time googsystray checks your mail at that account… So it may be an authentication issue.  Do any of the labels have strange characters in them?

No, I just checked the web url from my work account as opposed to my personal account.

personal is like you mention. -> https://mail.google.com/a/nicita.com/#inbox
work is slightly different. -> https://mail.google.com/a/cbsinteractive.com/?zx=xa44l8-83jzei#inbox

my labels were all originally created via IMAP, while importing using google sync from outlook.

    INBOX/tickets
    INBOX/users

    etc, etc.

Hrm I just checked on one of my apps accounts and there doesn't seem to be a problem with label names like that (Slashes were an issue at one point a long time ago).  Can you try _just_ setting up the work account (You're on Windows, so if it's not coming up, uninstalling and reinstalling will nuke the config files) and see if that works?  Also, your email address is @cbsinteractive.com and not at another alias of it?

Still isn't loggin into my business account, and even though I tell it to always show icon and autoload with windows, no tray icon shows up.
I uninstalled and reinstalled to the same results. @cbsinteractive.com is my real account name, I am using username@cbsinteractive.com as the address and the account logon.

I'm going to build you a debugging build later tonight when I get home, and maybe we can figure out what's going on.

Is it possible that your work uses the SSO (single-sign-on) method of authentication?  I just got a feature req from another user to support it - apparently it quit authenticating his user.
