This is a combination of bug & feature request. But firs, let me say that this is a great and much needed product.
The whole handling of duplicates is overly sophisticated and not easy to use. It's great f there are only one or two, but if there are many it is very time consuming to deal with them.
I have several deliberate duplicates. (eg. 2 family members owning the same email address or mobile phone).
I generally mark them as "keep both".
When I synch a second time, I end up with the same conflict reported and have to go through the process again. (A real nuisance).
A second record is then created, with the contacts being inflated with duplicates on both sides (outlook and Google).
Sometimes I want to edit / correct one of the records, not just keep or overide. Not clear how to do that. (I assume it's keep both, then go in and edit & synch again).
I recently replaced the hard-disk on my computer & reinstalled office with a
back-up of my PST file.
Ultimately, I just went through and manually adjusted all the duplicates.
