#459 unable to log in


GCSM is unable to log in to my account. I searched the tickets and didn't find any solution that applies to my case. I'm not using 2-way authentication and I don't have any app-specific passwords. I tried closing and restarting GCSM multiple times, but that didn't help. I'm pretty sure that I'm trying to use the correct credentials. This is the first time I'm using GCSM: I've never been use to log in.

The messages that I get are:

[9/8/2014 11:42:04 | Information] Connecting to Outlook...
[9/8/2014 11:42:04 | Information] Loading Outlook contacts...

[9/8/2014 11:42:05 | Error] The credentials (Google Account username and/or password) are invalid, please correct them in the settings form before you sync again

I'd appreciate any help you can give. Thank you.

    Unfortunatelly there is nothing we can help. It is working on my account like on thousands of other accounts, you have to check, why your account is not valid, maybe because of some Special characters which cannot be handled?

    Thank you for the suggestion. I have meanwhile started to use a different synchronization solution, but thanks anyway.
