No

I recently installed GO Contact Sync Mod on my new computer (X121e from lenovo) running Win7 Professional 64bit. Before on an Acer Travelmate with Win7 Professional 32bit everything worked fine.
Now, whenever I sync the pop-up appears, telling me there is a sync conflict. I sync everything already by keeping Outlook and another time by keeping Google, still the message appears. I also tried changing the box "Use Outlook Contact's FileAs for Google Title" - although I'm not entirely sure what that changes.

Does somebody know about the problem and might be able to help me?
Thanks already
Fingolfin

can you try to reset the matches and then sync again?

Could you elaborate on how to "reset" matches? I don't know what do do exactly.

Btw at the moment, I use the setting "Merge Outlook Wins" and at least I'm not getting the messages anymore - of course if I really change a contact at both places, I will have a problem.

If you open the GCSM Settings form, on the lower left part of the window, there is a link "Reset matches" (on the right hand side of the heart icon).

Btw, when using "Merge Outlook Wins", are there log entries, that it updates all Google contacts again and again when syncing? If not, maybe before you reset your matches, try again to use the prompt feature, maybe it has aligned already the matches. If you still get the problem, I would advice to reset matches and try again.

Do you have another PC or mobile syncing with Google? Maybe this is causing the problem.

After reseting the matches, its still the same problem.
And yes, there are Log Entries when using "Merge Outlook Wins": "Updated Google contact from Outlook" for every contact.

I used another laptop before (until bout a week ago) there it worked fine. But the other one is not in use anymore, so it should not interfere.

If you don't have a solution, I could probably live with the current situation - although it is of course not the perfect way to use this very nice tool.

Hmm strange. Can it be that your PC's time is significantly different to the Google time? If it us more than 2 minutes (what is the time tolerance) it would explain, why it always think that the entry has changed. If checking the sysrem time doesnt help, maybe it helps to use a new sync profile name
