I'd like to create a custom canvas item in Python by subclassing
goocanvas.ItemSimple. For this, one needs to have access to the bounds
member of the underlying C struct, which has to be updated in the
overridden do_update() method.
So is there a way to retrieve a reference to this bounds member variable
in the Python bindings?
BTW, I already filed a bug about this issue some time ago
assuming the answer to the question above is NO, but since there was no
response so far, I thought I should drop a message at the list here.
