The primary reason to use geant in Gobo was to avoid using
Makefiles because they are not portable, avoid cygwin on
Windows, etc. And our goal is not to reinvent the wheel
('geant' is already reinventing Jakarta Ant anyway) but
to have fun writing a tool in Eiffel which can be used in
the Gobo package in a portable way.
