I just subscribed to this list because I think it is a very good thing
that many project merge and many developers join forces.

And also since a long time I wanted to use gobo in my seif project (see
http://sourceforge.net/projects/seif).

But now I will put this on hold and try to help you first as much as I
can (unfortunately this will perhaps mean not very much since I don't
have a lot of free time).
