It didn't work. Actually I wonder how it could work on Linux.
I had to replace:

    <option if="{GOBO_EIFFEL}=ge">
        <option if="{BOEHM_GC}">

by:

    <option if="${GOBO_EIFFEL}=ge">
        <option if="${BOEHM_GC}">

The $ signs were missing. It's now fixed in SVN.
