My guess is it's at a turning point. Certainly it is for me personally - ISE 6.1 uses too much memory for my machine (I have 2GB and it always locks up when I compile large systems from scratch, with kernel errors), and I have just today ordered a new machine. When it arrives in a few weeks I shall be using a 64-bit Linux and 64-bit compilers (but if I can cross-compile to 32-bit I may do that occasionally too). -- Colin Adams Preston Lancashire |
