When I try to run the xpath and xslt test suites (I have made a lot of
changes to the library) with gec, I get:
[GVKFE-1] class TYPED_POINTER: feature `pointer_item' is missing in kernel class TYPED_POINTER.

It's because gec needs to be recompiled. You need
to make an update from SVN and then run the bootstrap
(or just compile gec in $GOBO/src/gec and copy it to
$GOBO/bin).
