What do you mean by "actual mouse coordinates"? Position on the monitor? pixel position in the view window? Gnuplot user coordinates as displayed in the taskbar or at the bottom of the plot?
Also, what do you mean by "get" them? Read from the X11 clipboard? A system query from another process on the machine? From inside the gnuplot process? From the parent process that started gnuplot?
