This is just more convenient when installing in a prefix that all stuff is automatically installed prefixed.

Also there is a small issue in the gih/texdir code in configure.in due to the fact that --prefix is always checked after all the other path options.
So there could be the case that the prefix changes after some dir option made already use of the default one.

The attached patch make some minor change to solve this issues in a ways described in the autoconf manual.
