Hello,
I have a number of groups of 2D points which I want to plot such that
each group's points (the points are already labeled based on which group
they belong to) are plotted in a different color.
So, if I have N groups, I want to plot all the points on to the same
graph, but there are going to be N colors for the plotting (one for each
group). N may change in different experiments.
So here is what I am looking to do:
1. How do I construct a 'color palette' or 'color map' so that, e.g.,
group 1 is of red color and as group label increases the color gradually
changes to blue (going through the rainbow colors). In this example, if
I have N groups, I would like to have N different colors in the range of
red to blue (something identical to colormap in Matlab).
2. Find out how to specify the color of each point as I plot it. If I
can find out the 3tuples of N colors in step 1, can I specify that
3tuple as a color for each point?
Thanks,
