If I've understood you correctly, then the best you can probably do is use =
set xrange, yrange and zrange to scale the data with respect to the axis an=
d set size to scale your plot. You can also use set view 60,30,1., 1.5 for =

even if you get it to look right in one terminal (i.e. on the screen) when=
you output it with another terminal (e.g., postscript) then it might not l=
