Yes.  Since Gnuplot.plot() is defined to take a variable number of
parameters, you need to arrange that each of your PlotItems is a
separate parameter to the plot() method.  Do either

    g.plot(p1, p2)

or

    lines = [p1,p2]
    apply(g.plot, lines)

or (if you are using Python 2.0 or later)

    lines = [p1,p2]
    g.plot(*lines)
