[Gnuplot-py-users] other gnuplot functions

Hi all,

I am looking to do some curve fitting and I am wondering if gnuplot-py will 
be accept the gnuplot curve fit commands via similar methods as you would 
generate a normal plot (ie. using the Gnuplot.Gnuplot() object)?

Has anyone tried this or know if it is implemented?

This has been discussed on the mailing list a couple of times before.
Please search the archive.

The bottom line is that there is no built-in support in Gnuplot.py for
the "fit" function, but it shouldn't be much effort to invoke it
explicitly and read the output back into Python.
