Yes, sure, that's why I like Gnuplot.py, for the flexibility you
get.

I'll tell you what, I'll start using pm3d whenever I need it for
research or have some spare time and let you know if I find a
useful way to include it explicitly in Gnuplot.py and make it
easier to be accessed by the user ...
